Smarter knee rehabilitation at home

AI Rehab combines guided exercises, interactive games and remote review of exercise participation to help patients remain engaged with their home rehabilitation.
Slider® is a smart rehabilitation device designed to support people living with knee osteoarthritis and patients preparing for or recovering from knee replacement surgery. When used at home, Slider records heel displacement in millimetres during exercise. Its proprietary software uses this displacement data to calculate and display an estimated knee range-of-motion value in degrees. Slider does not directly measure knee-joint angle, muscle force or muscle strength.

Slider connects to the Slider patient application on a compatible smartphone or tablet. The application provides guided exercises, interactive games and real-time exercise feedback. Patients can view exercise participation and progress trends, while authorised healthcare professionals can review this information remotely between appointments. Slider’s displayed values are intended only for exercise feedback and progress tracking. They are not intended to diagnose a condition or complication, predict the need or timing for surgery, prescribe or modify treatment, or replace an independent clinical assessment.
"I have been using the Slider for about 4 weeks, and have realised a significant improvement in my knee muscles. My surgery for a total replacement is next week and I feel confident that i will have a much speedier recovery."
